Who We Are

Hi there!  I'm glad you're here!

Mae Bess Boutique is named after my beloved grandmother, Bessie Mae, who loved to shop and loved fashion jewelry.  As a child, my favorite thing to do was stand at her dresser and play in her jewelry box, usually for hours on end!

In addition to passing down her love for fashion and jewelry, Bessie Mae also passed down her petite genetics!  There's just one problem, there aren't nearly as many petite options in the clothing industry as there are for the average height and plus size women.  If you're 5'4" or under, you know how frustrating it is to find clothes that fit your height.  And, when you don't, you resort to having clothing altered - which is an added expense!  

My goal for Mae Bess Boutique is to change that!  It's going to take some time, but I'm committed to finding petite options for our fellow petite friends.  In the meantime, you'll find accessories and clothing for "average" heights and sizes, and I'll be sure to share how it may fit for those 5'4" and under.
